Couldn't get access to the microphone
Step 1. Make sure the microphone is turned on
If you are using a headset with a volume control (on the cable), make sure that the sound is not muted. Audio must be enabled on a site (such as Google Hangouts or Skype).
Step 2. Check your system settings
Make sure your microphone is used by default for audio recording and it is configured correctly:

Step 3. The camera and microphone works best in Google Chrome and Firefox
Select your issue type from the list and click "send". We will try to help you as soon as possible.

How to start learning on the platform
Learning on the Qlang platform is designed so that you can easily start and confidently continue — at any level and from anywhere in the world.
Below is a step-by-step guide for new users.
1. Registration
If you are studying through a company:
An email with a link has already been sent to you. Simply follow the link and complete the quick registration.
If you are an individual learner:
1. Go to the website and open the "Registration" section. Enter your up-to-date contact information:
2. Email (to receive reminders about lessons)
3. Phone number (for important information and communication)
2. Placement Test
Immediately after registration, you will have access to a test with 60 questions (time limit – 120 minutes).
Please complete the test on your own, without translators or assistance — this way we can more accurately determine your level and recommend the most suitable course.
If the test is not displayed — please contact us at support@qlang.kz.
3. How to Choose a Teacher
Go to the "Teachers" section — you will see a list of available instructors with short profiles and schedules.
You can:
- Choose a teacher based on their profile or experience
- Try lessons with several teachers and stay with the one you feel most comfortable with
- Adjust the schedule to suit your needs
4. How to Book a Lesson
2. Select a suitable teacher
3. Choose a convenient date and time
4. Click on an available slot — your booking will be confirmed automatically
The booking will appear in the "Feed" section.
If your plans change, cancel the lesson no later than 6 hours before it starts.
5. How to Join an Online Lesson
One minute before the lesson starts, a "Join Online Lesson" button will appear in the "Feed" section.
Click it — and you will enter a video chat with your teacher.
❗ Before your first lesson, be sure to run the video connection test in your personal account — it will take just a couple of minutes and check your camera, microphone, and internet connection.
6. How a Lesson Works
On your screen you will see:
- On the left — lesson slides controlled by the teacher
- On the right — video connection with the teacher
- At the bottom — chat, additional materials, and task buttons
How tasks work:
- Each correct answer gives you 2 points (highlighted in green)
- Mistakes are marked in red
- If you make more than three mistakes, the key (correct answer) will appear
After the lesson, click the cross in the top corner to exit.
7. How to Review Lesson Materials

3. Click on it — you will see:
- Slides
- Your answers and tasks
- Answer keys (if enabled by the teacher)
You can return to these materials anytime — to review and consolidate your knowledge.
8. What to Do if a Lesson, Test, or Teacher is Not Displayed
